Years before starting Spice Cure, Terri Ward developed a spice blend she called Chicken Rub for lack of a better name. She started sharing it with nutrition clients and friends who loved it and wanted more. They encouraged her to sell it, but she didn’t even know how much the ingredients cost.
Over the years and in the process of writing cookbooks, Terri developed several other healthy spice blends to accommodate her own food intolerances as well as those of her clients and family members. She also discovered that her Chicken Rub was good on a lot more than just chicken and while several of the blends have gone through revisions, that one remains unchanged and is now called The ONE.

When Kerry and Terri got married 28 years ago, she wanted to remodel the house they had purchased. He suggested she get some bids and she suggested they buy some tools. Little did she know how many tools would ultimately be purchased through two remodels and many, many projects.
When Terri wanted a cutting board for food photography, Kerry made some beautiful ones, but sold them before they made it to the kitchen. The thrill of designing new boards and using different exotic woods ensued. Now Kerry has a wide array of beautiful boards in inventory that Terri can choose from when staging photos and for sale through her website.
Earlier this year when the local farmers market needed vendors, Terri had an ah-ha moment that would help serve the mission of getting people to cook and eat healthier. She could sell her spice blends at the market along with her recently released cookbooks and Kerry’s cutting boards. With Kerry’s support, she launched Spice Cure at the Middleton Market and Nampa Farmers Markets as a “market research” project. With rave reviews and repeat customers, we are here to stay and committed to serving our existing customers and any new ones who want delicious spice blends made with clean, organic ingredients (when we can source them) and NO gluten, dairy, soy, MSG, corn syrup, unhealthy oils, filler, additives, or preservatives.
