1can(8-ounce) crushed pineapple and juice (unsweetened)
Instructions
In a large salad bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water. Let sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
Pour in the hot water and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Add the juice, oranges, and pineapple (with its juice). Stir gently to combine.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
Serve chilled.
Notes
To make this salad vegan, replace the gelatin with 2 tablespoons of agar agar powder. Combine all of the water and agar agar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, simmer for 2 to 3 minutes while stirring, then proceed as directed, adding the remaining ingredients and chilling.
